Registration is required for all classes, regardless of fee.
The Jean McLaughlin Women’s Center for Health and Healing, in partnership with The HealthSource, offers a wide array of childbirth preparation classes, and infant and toddler classes for expectant and new parents.
Rebound Classes: Five two-hour classes covering the issues of healthy living following breast cancer. The classes cover topics such as nutrition and breast cancer; the role of exercise and fitness in breast cancer risk reduction; cosmetic options following breast cancer treatment; issues of breast cancer survivors; and others. All classes and support groups are free of charge. Cancer Support Groups: Often the best support comes through those who have also confronted cancer. Any woman who has ever confronted breast cancer is welcome to attend the Palomar Pomerado Health support groups free of charge, regardless of health-care affiliation.
